Is TOAP an employee ownership scheme?

No. We focus on rewards and recognition and high impact rewards are equity. TOAPs are not restricted to employees and can be more broad-based to consumers and workers.

Do we need to dilute the company shares?

No. As we work with publicly listed companies, we deal with existing stocks acquired from stock exchanges or treasury stocks if preferred. If you are a private company, we assume you are already ready to incentivize your people through equity and have assigned pools for it. We can help with our partner otherwise if you need to allocate a private pool.

Can the assets be sold and turned into cash?

Yes. After holders redeem tokens as stocks, they can sell them if a publicly listed company. However, there might be a lock period before you can redeem your tokens as stocks.

Are there tax implications?

There will be tax implications on the point of grant to the individual, and the individual is liable after the capital gains along with annual exemption. TOAP outlies all the guidance, making it integrated into your flow for the individual and the organization.

Where is the web3 in this? Are you crypto?

TOAP is not crypto securities; however, we use blockchain infrastructure to create programmable points and a marketplace of loyalty. Blockchain underpins the Web3 infrastructure and enables the ethos of web3 orgs and incentives where meaningful contributions are rewarded with equity, voice, access, and reputation.
